Everything will be different but we need to remember our traditions to continue as soon as everything is over. In all the Italian regions in the days between October 31st and the day of Saint Martin (November 11th) is custom to celebrate the juxtaposition of life and death with numerous events

  • The Italian Heritage and Culture Committee of New York, Inc. celebrates its 34th annual Italian Heritage and Culture Month this October with the theme: “A Tribute to Dr. Maria Montessori: An Internationally Renowned Educator and Physician.” Maria Montessori was a pioneer in education, though it would be reductive to define her only as an educator, because she was also a philosopher, a physician, a humanitarian, and more! Her biography clearly shows that she was an extraordinary woman who made a personal revolution in a society where there was no space for women, especially one with such radical beliefs. @ J.D.
