For two days every year, the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel swells with Italian voices, music, and food for the National Italian American Foundation’s (NIAF) Anniversary Gala weekend. October 12 and 13 of this year were no different. Pugliese wine, olive oil, and sauce was enjoyed by eager Italian Americans looking for a taste of their culture at the Expo Italiana, and gala attendees gathered to honor Italian Americans who have contributed greatly to American business, science, government, and the arts.
  • Another culture Italian-American evening in New York at the legendary Cipriani 42nd Street on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The event has consistently sold out over the past few years, and this year is no exception.
  • The presence important Italian wine producers will give an even greater appeal to GALA ITALIA—the longest running promotional event for Italian wines in the U.S.—and stimulate the interest of the American wine press. Guests will have the opportunity to taste the same special wines that were donated to the Ambassadors of the Member Nations of the UN Security Council and pair them with a carefully constructed menu that highlights the characteristics of the wines.
  • NIAF invites you to celebrate our Italian heritage!

Red, White and Green stands proud in the Red, White and Blue for the Italian “party of the year.” The National Italian American Foundation holds its annual Weekend Gala in Washington D.C., Nov. 3 to Nov. 5.
  • From Sicily, “My beautiful cursed cradle,” to America. The artist from Palermo will sing at NIAF’s annual gala, and she will also be a guest of Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at the end of November. She’s a young voice between the past and the future. Considered the spiritual winner of “The Voice of Italy 2015,” Salerno’s music is enchanting. As the original interpreter of Rosa Balistrieri, she has a repertoire that includes various genres. She also has a production under her own name. And surprise–she also plays the autoharp: “I began to study it after falling in love with June Carter and Johnny Cash.”
  • Characterized by an exciting energy and an air of elegance, the 2017 La Scuola Gala Benefit Dinner took place on March 24 to commemorate the jubilee with live entertainment and fine dining in the presence of important political dignitaries and the evening’s accomplished honorees: Mauro Porcini of PepsiCo and George A. Hirsch of “New York Magazine.”
  • March 22 marks a special evening for Italians, Italian Americans, and anyone who loves Italian culture. The National Italian American Foundation will be holding its annual New York Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street. Dinner, entertainment, and awards are sure to create a memorable night.
