Sagra del Libro Book Fair Kicks off IAWA's 25th Anniversary in Little Italy, NYC

The Italian American Writers Association (IAWA) kicked off its 25th anniversary with the Sagra del Libro book fair in an historic collaboration with the Order of the Sons of Italy, Lt. Joseph Petrosino Lodge #285 that was initiated by IAWA's recently departed Board Member and friend, Emelise Aleandri and is, in fact, dedicated to her memory.

The Italian American Writers Association (IAWA) presents two activist authors who are also co-founders of the Vito Marcantonio Forum, Gil Fagiani and Stephen Siciliano on Saturday, May 9 at Cornelia St. Café, Greenwich Village. Open Mic followed by features.

The Italian American Writers Association (IAWA) presents literary critic and mystery writer Frank Lentricchia and culture maven Roberto Ragone on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Cornelia St. Cafe, 29 Cornelia St., Greenwich Village, www.corneliastcafe.com. The reading takes place from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and kicks off with Open Mic readings of five minutes after which the featured writers take the stage.
